Developer: Short Leg Studio

Price: Free

Plant Therapy is a cozy game where you build a plant collection. Your goal is to keep your plants alive as long as possible. There is no limit to the amount of plants you can get in this game. I love this game because it shows how much care goes into caring for plants, and the mission to keep them alive. Plant Therapy is definitely one of my favorite free and affordable games.

The Werecleaner

Developer: Howlin’ Hugs

Price: Free

The Werecleaner isn’t so much a cozy game as it is a stress-free, fun time. You play as Kyle, who is an office janitor. Kyle has a secret that only comes out at night though. When it’s nighttime, he turns into a werewolf, complete with a cute little blep. The game will give you different objectives that all center around cleaning messes in the office. However, the player has to try not to get caught as a werewolf, or else they will be forced to kill and devour their coworkers. This is one of my favorite free and affordable games, just because of how much fun I had playing it.

LoveChoice

Developer: Akaba Studio

Price: $1.99

LoveChoice is a decision-based story game about romantic relationships and love. The game has a total of 3 stories, all with multiple endings. I love this game because it’s very cutely designed, and it reminds me of the dynamic I have with my partner.

Florence

Developer: Mountains

Price: $5.99

Florence is a game focusing on an aspiring artist. Average playtime is about 30 minutes. Florence may be short, but it has deep meaning. The game’s story revolves around Florence Yeoh, a 25 year old office worker who dreams of becoming an artist. One day, her phone dies, and she meets a cello player named Krish, and thus begins Florence’s story. This game has very relatable points, such as being unable to pursue your dream, and fighting with your partner. This game is a great representation of relationships and self-discovery.

Virtual Cottage

Developer: DU&I

Price: Free

Virtual Cottage isn’t so much a game as it is a focus tool. This game is essentially a Pomodoro timer, where you can set your timer for 25 minutes with a 5 minute break between tasks. You can change the music, and adjust the weather in Virtual Cottage as well. I love that you can customize your little cottage to fit your mood, as well as changing the music and pet.
