Hello friends! I recently discovered a brand last year called Plushie Dreadfuls! Plushie Dreadfuls is a shop that makes bunnies for every disability. They even have some non-disability ones as well. I got a handful of these plushies and here is my collection of them!
ADHD Bunny

The ADHD Bunny is a unique bunny. It represents what it’s like to have ADHD, whether it’s the inattentive type, the hyperactive type or the combined type. I have combined type ADHD, and this bunny perfectly represents what it’s like to have it.
Bunny Features
- One sock- represents looking for something but being unable to find it
- Mismatched limb colors- represents forgetting why you came into a room or why you were in the middle of doing an activity
- Chaos symbol- represents the chaotic mind of someone with ADHD
- Bees- the ADHD bunny has several bees in a pouch on its back to represent the feeling of “bees in your brain”
Autism Bunny

The Autism Bunny is a cute bunny that represents having autism. As someone with Level 2 autism, this was the first Plushie Dreadfuls plush I got. I love this bunny because when I look at it or hold it, I feel like it understands the struggles of being autistic. This is one of my favorite plushies from Plushie Dreadfuls.
Bunny features:
- Rainbow infinity sign- represents neurodiversity
- Looking to the side- represents avoiding eye contact. I love this feature because eye contact is extremely difficult for me and it feels like someone is staring lasers directly into my eyes.
- Magnetic paw- the Autism Bunny comes with a magnetic paw that goes over its mouth to symbolize anxiety, stimming behaviors, or selective mutism. I have selective mutism when it comes to strangers. I also struggle with a lot of anxiety.
Migraine Bunny

The Migraine Bunny is another favorite of mine. I have suffered with chronic migraines since I was 10. That’s over half my life battling this debilitating health condition. When I see the Migraine Bunny when I’m having a migraine attack, I feel like it understands my pain pretty well. This is another favorite from Plushie Dreadfuls.
Bunny features:
- Lightning bolt on head- I originally thought this was a crack in the bunny’s head due to how bad migraines can hurt, but it it actually a lightning bolt representing a thunderclap headache- a sudden onset headache that is quite severe.
- Brain hat- the brain hat is my favorite part of the migraine bunny. The brain hat is a brain with six legs and it looks rather angry. It represents the fact that having a migraine feels like you’re being attacked by your own brain.
- Broken heart- I originally thought that the broken heart symbolized how much pain a migraine can cause, but it actually represents heart palpitations and stress that can happen due to a migraine
Anxiety Bunny

I quite love the Anxiety Bunny. I was diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder at the same time I was diagnosed with autism. Anxiety is not fun, but when I look at the Anxiety Bunny or even hold it, I feel a bit calmer because I can relate so much to it.
Bunny features:
- Amalgamation symbol- represents worries that occur with anxiety
- Magnetic hands- the Anxiety Bunny has magnetic hands so it can hold its face or you can change its hands to connect together to make it look like the bunny is praying or saying thanks
- Worry bunnies- The Anxiety Bunny comes with two tiny white bunnies called worry bunnies. They work like worry dolls- you whisper your worries to the bunnies and zip them back up in the pouch on Anxiety Bunny’s back.
- Mottled ear color- represents cold sweats and tingling brought on by anxiety
Depression Bunny

The Depression Bunny is another favorite. This was my third diagnosis when I got my autism diagnosis alongside anxiety. I have moderate depression which pops up every so often, but I manage it with medication. The Depression Bunny looks very sad, which is how depression feels- sad, hopeless, and like nothing will ever improve. However, it also makes me realize life can be good sometimes.
Bunny features:
- Broken heart symbol- represents feeling persistently sad
- Tired, sad eyes- represents how exhausting depression can be
- Scars- represents the mental scars that depression can give people
Dyspraxia Bunny

The Dyspraxia Bunny is essentially me in a nutshell. I can be quite clumsy (due to suspected dyspraxia). This means I often end up with scratches, scrapes, or bruises that I don’t remember getting. It’s an even bigger mystery as to how I got these wounds. Dyspraxia can cause problems in coordination, which I often have. I often find myself tripping over nothing, or losing my balance for no reason, which is why I got this bunny.
Bunny features:
- Scars- from injuries caused by dyspraxia
- Button eyes
- Checkered fur pattern
Sensory Processing Disorder Bunny

The Sensory Processing Disorder Bunny is an interesting bunny. Contrary to the other bunnies that I’ve gotten, this one represents a jellyfish. What also makes this bunny unique is that it has two versions: the orange version is made from soft Terry fabric for those who get under stimulated, and the blue one is made out of minky material for those who get overstimulated. I often get overstimulated from certain textures and fabrics (some soft fabrics can feel oddly scratchy to me), so I chose the blue bunny. The faces of these bunnies are also lower than normal to prevent overstimulation or under stimulation and for maximum comfort.
Scorpio Bunny

I got the Scorpio Bunny because I am a Scorpio through and through (Scorpios are born between the dates of October 23- November 21). My birthday is October 25, so I exert very heavy Scorpio energy (according to my friends). The bunny has the Scorpio symbol on its chest. It also has scary-looking red eyes for the intensity that Scorpios are said to have. It has a whole heart on one ear and a broken heart on the other ear to represent the frustration of a Scorpio’s love life. Finally, the bunny has scars on its face and arms to look intimidating.
Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Kitty

This bunny is actually not a bunny, but it is a cat. The Chronic Fatigue Syndrome kitty symbolizes what it’s like to have chronic fatigue syndrome (otherwise known as Myalgic Encephalomyelitis). CFS/ME is symbolized by persistent fatigue no matter what a person does. They could rest for 16 hours and feel like they’ve only rested for 2 hours. I have a suspicion that I may have CFS/ME so that is why I got it.
Kitty Symbols:
- Alchemy symbol for 24 hours- represents being exhausted 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
- Eyepatch- represents feeling half asleep
- Blue fur- represents feeling cold and tired
Shy Bunny

Shy Bunny represents what it’s like to be introverted to the point of being shy. I have always been told throughout my childhood and school years that I am shy (which later turned out to be autism). Although I have the diagnoses now, I am still pretty shy around people, and this bunny perfectly encapsulates what it’s like to be very introverted. This is probably my most favorite bunny from Plushie Dreadfuls as it’s pink and cute.
Bunny features:
- Custom glasses- custom glasses that attach to Shy Bunny’s face
- Cute lace collar
- Diary key symbol on Shy Bunny’s foot to represent introversion
- Spare pair of glasses in case Shy Bunny breaks her original pair
Apple Bunny

Apple Bunny is a cute little bunny that represents an apple. It has apple cross sections on both feet, apple print on the inside of its ears, and it even comes with a little worm burrowed in its heart, representing the stereotypical worm inside an apple trope.
Peach Bunny

Peach Bunny is a cute cottage core-style bunny. She has adorable rosy cheeks, peach hearts on the bottoms of her feet, and peach, white, and green hearts on the insides of her ears. To top off the look, she also has an adorable green bonnet.
Strawberry Bunny

The Strawberry Bunny is a cute little bunny that represents a strawberry. The bunny has a white face (I mistook the nose and mouth for a skull), a green bow with a strawberry in the middle, green paws, and strawberry seed designs on the outside of its ears. The bottoms of its feet have white hearts as well.
Lemon Bunny

The final bunny in my Plushie Dreadfuls collection is the Lemon Bunny. The Lemon Bunny’s face looks like what a person’s face would look like if they consumed a lemon whole. An X represents puckered lips, tears are coming out of its eyes due to how sour the lemon is, and the bunny even has a lemon heart. The inside of its ears are also designed like lemon slices.
Overall, I love Plushie Dreadfuls, and I would definitely get more bunnies based on further diagnoses I get.
Have you ever heard of Plushie Dreadfuls before?
