Hello friends! I’ve loved playing games since I was 5-6, and here are my top 5 games ever!
Skyrim
Skyrim has been one of my first video game loves and one I’ve had for a long time. I’ve been playing since 2013. when someone kindly gifted it to me, and I’ve been hooked ever since. You play a character called “Dovahkiin” -the last Dragonborn- and your goal is to defeat the World Eater Alduin. Bethesda has since then launched an Anniversary Edition in 2021 to celebrate Skyrim’s 10th birthday which has more content, particularly from the Creative Club. I love Skyrim because the graphics are beautiful, and it’s a world I wish I was in constantly, with all that beautiful nature.

Fallout 4
Fallout 4 is yet another Bethesda game that I love a lot. Released 4 years after Skyrim, Fallout 4 focuses on a character called the Sole Survivor. The Sole Survivor survives the Great War by being cryogenically frozen, but loses their spouse and baby boy Shaun in the process. The Sole Survivor then travels all across the Commonwealth (present day Boston/Massachusetts) to look for Shaun and to avenge their spouse. This game inspired me to visit Boston, and I love how the game takes real life landmarks and puts them into a post apocalyptic setting.

The Sims 4
The Sims 4 allows anyone to create a dream version of themselves- or heck, even their current selves. I love playing The Sims because it allows me to achieve what I can’t in real life. In the Sims, my little person can have a family, have pets, and have a house, which is practically unachievable in this day and age.

Stardew Valley
Stardew Valley is a cute game about a farmer who inherits their grandfather’s farm. The farm is quite run-down, so it is the player’s job to restore the farm. You also get to meet all the villagers in Pelican Town, and get married as well. I’ve always admired people who homestead (maybe a secret dream of mine) and I love how you can mod the game aesthetically so everyone’s farms looks different from each other.
